Kayleigh (me!)
MAKEUP ARTIST
Makeup artist of over 10 years, London based but Kent raised. Mentor, dog mum and serial podcast listener turned Podcaster!
If I'm not doing makeup, I’m teaching it, snacking, enjoying London and probably buying sneakers (sometimes at the same time!)
-
Eevee
CHAIRMAN OF THE BARKERS CLUB
Neighbourhood long girl. Named after the Pokemon. Main duties barking at skateboards, roller blades and the wind, acting as a test shot for lighting and generally growling at anything that moves. She is the true owner of this business.

Miss Mio Doge
MAKEUP ASSISTANT
Newest Intern. Absolutely terrible at makeup but tries her best. Despite popular belief, NOT a fox. Strengths include always missing the puppy pad and looking like a fox. Weaknesses, none. She's perfect. You’ll find her pottering about at bridal trials, and hoping for her big break in showbiz.

Hi! I’m Kayleigh!
LONDONER // DOG MAMA // SERIAL PODCAST LISTENER // HOT CHOCOLATE ADDICT // CAPRICORN //
And not forgetting, makeup artist of over a decade. Makeup has been my obsession for over 10 years. From watching my nana paint her face every summer I spent with her, to receiving that iconic Sabrina the Teenage Witch magazine as a teenager.. the obsession came early. I remember painting a bruise on my arm as a kid with my mums mascara (which was quickly discouraged!) and even doing my friends makeup at the age of 13 and my parents commenting “not bad”.. safe to say, I was always destined to do this.
Fun Facts
Listening to.. Brat summer, Brat Autumn, Brat 2025. I’m still not over it.
Fave podcast of the moment.. Kathrin Zenkina changed my life with the Manifestation Babe Podcast. It’s the reason I’m here!
Obsessing over…Vieve Skin Nova is everythingggg.

Building ✨… My brand new makeup studio! I hope you can come visit! @bykayleigh.studio
I started my makeup career as a blogger in 2012!
A decade ago, you would have found me studying for a law degree, working nights at my local supermarket, binge listening to podcasts and doing makeup in my spare time on my secret blog.
A job interview with Giorgio Armani began my love affair as a makeup artist. Over 10 years later, 3 brands, hundreds of faces (if not thousands), magazine covers, ad campaigns, red carpets and one BIG pandemic - it’s safe to say, that Sabrina the Teenage Witch magazine my mum bought me as an 11 year old, didn't go to waste (even if the Law Degree did!)
Because I know you’re curious…
I would blog my weekly makeup looks (and Disney holidays, but let’s not talk about that!)

For me, makeup is more than makeup. I have watched it do so many things in the past 10 years, from turning an actor into a character to go on screen to making a woman feel more herself in the midst of her transition. Makeup is more than pretty colours and powder. It’s confidence, it’s power, it’s art, it’s creativity, it’s expression, it’s holding space for a moment for you.

I would eat Sushi every single day if I could, and I have more sneakers than I care to admit (trust me, if you ever come to my home studio, you will see ‘em!). I’m passionate about empowering women through makeup AND through education, which is what I do with the other half of my time on my educational side - By Kayleigh. I love to travel, exploring and walking (yes, I am that annoying person that chooses to walk for an hour rather than get public transport!). And if i’m not doing a combination of all those things, I’m definitely out in nature, with my family and my dogs.
-
My style of work is more “Oscar Red Carpet” than “Kardashian Insta-Glam” so I tend to attract those wanting softer, more natural looks and a more chilled out experience. I’m about enhancing, not covering and love to collaborate, not exaggerate. I have so many wonderful clients, turned friends, from my very first London bride Lois - to my wonderful client Kate, who has now turned into my afternoon tea buddy.
-
You probably saw above, my little besties - Mio and Eevee. Eevee currently lives by the seaside in Kent, with my family, after developing an “allergy” to London (if you have sausage dogs, you will know what I’m talking about!). Mio lives in London and is my little wolfy girl. You can meet her, she’s often at the studio. She’s the perfect on-set dog. She has even been featured in a commercial!

Disney World for my Mum’s 60th. She could go anywhere in the world, she chose the world. A big kid at heart ♥️

I was once hired to do makeup for Christie Prades, who was in London performing for the On Your Feet Musical. I did her makeup for opening night, and a few press events. As a musical theatre nerd, to go backstage and be in her dressing room - was a complete fever dream. I loved every second of it!!
-
At the moment, I’m reading the Almanack of Naval Revikant, alongside ACOTAR!
Current watch, is always Youtube Vlogs, I’m obsessed with the girlies!
Currently listening to the Mel Robbins Podcast, which never fails to inspire me.
